⏰ Hours: Fridays & Saturdays (Variable)
📢 About the Role:
Friday Night Lights is gearing up for another epic year, and we’re looking for new Festival Volunteers to help everything run smoothly and make sure everyone has an amazing time!
From greeting guests to keeping things tidy, supporting behind the scenes or welcoming guests, there’s a role for everyone. We’re looking for positive, hands-on helpers ready to jump in, get stuck in, and have fun while doing it! 🎉
Here are a few ideas of some of the roles & responsibilities available, but be prepared to turn your hand to anything!
🧾 Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
🍻 Bar Work
Serve drinks and refreshments efficiently and responsibly
Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions 💳
Restock fridges and bar supplies as needed 🧃
Maintain a clean and tidy bar area 🧼
🎟️ Ticket Scanning & Entry Management
Welcome guests and scan tickets at entry points 🙌
Assist with wrist-banding and entry queries
Provide clear directions and information to attendees 🗺️
🧹 Site Cleaning & Waste Management
Carry out regular litter picking across the site
Empty bins and keep public areas tidy 🗑️
Respond quickly to any cleaning-related issues or spillages
🤝 Guest Support & Customer Service
Help guests with directions, general information, and queries ❓
Offer friendly and professional assistance to ensure a great experience 😊
Support lost property processes and basic crowd management 👥
🚚 General Site Support
Assist with setup and pack-down duties (moving stock, setting up signage, etc.) 🪧
Run errands and support crew and production teams as required 🔧
Ensure health & safety standards are followed at all times ⚠️
💡 Key Skills & Requirements (not limited to):
✅ A proactive, adaptable attitude and willingness to get stuck in
✅ Great communication and customer service skills 🗣️
✅ Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure 🤝
✅ Good work ethic (manual handling may be required) 💪
✅ Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
✅ Must be 18+ (for bar work and alcohol handling) 🍺
